    • To the right of each category, there is a filter icon.
    • Click the icon to make various adjustments.
    • To filter data within a specific time range, click the filter icon under Date.
    • In the pop-up window, change Equals to In range, after which you can specify the interval for your data.
  2. Sorting Data:
    • Click the small arrow on the right of a category to sort the data ascending or descending.
      • The arrow is not always visible but will appear when you click on the category name.

Grouping Data

One of the most useful features in Kala’s analysis is data grouping.

  1. How to Group Data:
    • Drag the desired category upwards, to the line Drag here to set row groups.
    • Once a category is dragged up, only data related to this category will be visible.
  2. Example of Grouping:
    • To see which employees have spent the most hours on a project, drag the Employee category up next to Project.
    • Click the arrow to the left of a project to expand the data and see how many hours each employee has registered.
  3. Add or Remove Categories from Grouping:
    • You can add multiple categories to deepen your analysis.
    • Remove a category from the grouping by clicking the small X next to the category name in the grouping line. The category will then return to its original position in the table.
