The Live Report helps you track your project’s progress and provides a clear overview of its status. It’s a great way to create a professional project summary for yourself or your customer.
Create a Live Report
To create a live report, follow these steps:
- Access the Project:
- Open the project for which you want to generate a report. Once inside the selected project, click on Info at the top of the project page.
- Generate the Live Report:
- In the Info section, you’ll see various details about the project, including the option Create Live Report.
- Select this to generate a live report. The report will open in a new window.
- You can now share the link to this live report with relevant stakeholders.
What Does a Live Report Include?
A live report provides a comprehensive overview of all project history entries, such as posts, notes, and added images. It also illustrates the progress of tasks and the project as a whole.
At the bottom of the live report, you’ll find a link to the report. This link is “live,” meaning it automatically updates to reflect the latest changes made to the project whenever it’s opened. This ensures that your customer (or you) always has access to the most up-to-date information. The link can easily be copied and shared with your customer if you find this helpful.
Example of a Live Report

Static Report Option: Download as a PDF
If you prefer a static version of the report instead of live updates, you can download the report as a PDF file. This ensures that the report reflects only the information available at the time of download and does not include automatic live updates.
To do this:
- Navigate to the Info section of the desired project.
- Select Export Project History PDF.
- This provides a fixed snapshot of the report.
- The PDF can then be shared with stakeholders as needed.
